Deborah McGee
RN / RM / CFHN / CNE
Deborah is a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM), Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN), and currently serving as the Clinical Nurse Education (CNE) for Northern Sydney and undertaking a Master of Public Health. Originally from Ireland, Deborah moved to Australia 10 years ago, and has built a career supporting families and promoting maternal and child health, across multiple public and private hospitals including the RPA, and Mater Private. She is a proud mother of two young children, Theo (4) and Isabelle (2). Deborah brings both professional expertise and personal experience to her work in childbirth education

Elaine Rooney

Elaine is a Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Midwife (RM) and Birth Suite Clinical Midwife Educator (CME) for NSW Health. Originally from Ireland, Elaine moved to Australia 15 years ago and has worked across multiple hospitals in Sydney and greater NSW. Elaine has recently been awarded Midwife of the Year 2026 for NSW Health. She is currently undertaking a PhD at UTS in Midwifery, and is mother to Saoirse (5) and Rian (2).

Jeanie Li is a Registered Nurse (RN) and Child and Family Health Nurse (CFHN) from New Zealand. She is passionate about supporting families and children's health and wellbeing. Jeanie is a devoted mother of three children.
